    Great Loop Jon Boat

I followed it closely, and watched the live stream as he crossed is wake. John Bourbon and I have been talking about this ourselves. Not for a record, but for an adventure. He in his Snowgoose, me in my Scaup. It was so cool to see folks step up and help in a moments notice, cheer him along...

TDB 14 Classic - "Easy" Fix

Similar to Steve, years ago, 2009 I think, when I refurbished my BBSB, I bought some SS square drive. buggle head screws in several lengths. I use these as "clamps" in all my glue ups. After everything cures, I pull them and fill with thickened epoxy. Been using the same screws for 16 yrs...

    Pennsylvania hunting

I had mixed emotions when we got Sunday hunting in VA. While I can appreciate the desire for those that can only hunt on the weekends, I liked not being conflicted. I prefer Sunday mornings for church, so did do some after church hunts. But what I appreciated was the longer season, adding...

    AA Blackjack Floor Repairs

Dennis, buy some SS, square drive screws and use them to temporarily clamp everything. I dry fit everything, including screwing it tight, then when I have the epoxy mixed up, I know it will go right where I want it and don't have to fiddle with clamps. After it cures, I removed the screws and...
