    Pond boxes

I think there are plans in Zac Taylor's Successful Waterfowling book for a pond box like you are describing.

    Torqeedo Electric Motors

Love the idea but at nearly 6K by the time you ship it, not very cost effective.

Need advice on shooting a .410 for ducks this year to reduce recoil

I hunted ducks with one last Oct after open heart surgery in early Sept. Boss bismuth 5. It was Ok on woodies but not beyond 30 yards. Just not enough BBs in the pattern. If you have to use it spend the money on TSS 9. I used it this spring on turkey with TSS and drilled 2 toms at 35 yards.

    Boat ID - Sportcraft??

What does it say on the title and/or registration? Looks homemade from some runabout hull. Been around duck boats a long time and never saw anything like that.

    Opening Day Nightmare

One year I had been shooting my bow for practice without the quiver. 1st day I climbed up in stand, screwed bow hanger in pulled bow up, hung it up, no quiver or arrows. Sat until it was light enough to see then climbed down and went home.

    Who shoots a 28 gauge?

I hope you have alot of it cause they don't make it anymore.

    Who shoots a 28 gauge?

The sub-gauges are in for a tough road ahead. With no more bismuth or tungsten, a decent load really does not exist. Boss is working on a solid copper, I hope they can do it. Others have tried copper and could not get it to hold pattern. Steel just doesn't have enough payload in the bigger shot...

    Swan Hunting in South Dakota

I killed one in North Dakota 2 years ago. I made 2 decoys out of old super mag canada shells. Put pool noodles around the bottom to make them float, painted white with black bills. had 7 going up a big lake about 150 yard out, just did a kinda swan call with my mouth. They turned and came right in.

    Boat blind height

As low as possible, you have to be able to water swat.

The Modern Solo-Diver Hunting Rig By Duck Water Boats

A harness rope goes between the eyes and that is what the anchor line attaches to with a float. It's a standard layout boat set up. Then you just hook the anchor line/float disconnect and haul it up on the tender, either by hand or winch.

Would you say how much the boat costs and how much it weighs?

I Am Content With My Fleet, But I Wish I Had Bought....

I though the same thing about the H-12 until a got the 14 foot sportpal square stern with Yak-Gear blind. 30 pounds lighter, 3x the room and twice as easy to paddle. The H-12 paddles like a coal barge compared to the sportpal. I sold my H-12 last year cause I figured I would never use it again...

I Am Content With My Fleet, But I Wish I Had Bought....

    I have a 16 foot Tracker Waterfowl edition with a new 4 stroke 20hp and custom blind. I have a 12 foot Starcraft V with a custom blind and a Amazon 4hp 2 stroke and electric trolling motor. I have 12 & 14 Sportpal's camo-ed and a Yak-Gear blind for the 14 footer (it is a square stern with...

Non duck related - New Orleans recommendations...

WW2 museum is excellent. Food just about everywhere is excellent. Other than that I found NOLA to be a very sad city. The poverty and homelessness is just eye opening. I am from rural Appalachia and we have lots a very poor people but not like NOLA. They don't bother you generally but you will...
