I close the top up with grass mats on sticks that have to be reset after we shoot. The more I cover the top the better I do. If I had more angle on the blind and it was 6" higher it would be more effective. It also makes us sit on milk crates which is not comfortable after about a hour.

What type of motor do you plan to run?

I'm not expert but I think on the phone he gave you two transom options. One with motor forward and the second with a flat traditional transom.

I have no experience but a product called "sea cast" might work well on that transom hard to tell from pictures.

Not sure it could be anything in the carb. Severe cold makes all metal shrink. I am having an issue with deterioration of the internal fuel lines clogging up the carb. I replaced them all but still suspect inside the fuel pump are small bits of rubber. If anything makes it the needle and seat it...
