It is the lifting in and out of the truck. It is the dragging on land from the truck to the water. It is the way the boat is made that makes it very awkward to lift.
I love the boat, just can't handle it anymore.
No skunks or raccoons where we live.
So here is the real funny part. Whoever is stealing our sling traps only takes the ones with plastic oaddles. I have gone out more than once and was missing a trap. The day before I out out 4. Checked back there and one trap was missing. Went back this...
Isn't antifreeze poisonous to cats? If I wasn't worried about potentially poisoning cats I have found the mice traps with those blocks of poison quite effective. We use these at our cabin where there are no stray cats wandering around.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I should have included this info.

I built this boat starting last year and it has worked well for me. Not the perfect boat but getting closer.
Yesterday it was trailered the furthest it ever has. I have been securing the longtail by wrapping a strap around it near the prop and tightening it down. It has worked well before but...
I'll be back there in a week or so and will take some pictures. There are literally thousands of sap drippings on the deck. I've never measures the but would guess just the side facing the water is 12' X 40'. The n the deck taps around both sides. Doing a spot at a time would be painful.
