The BBII is the displacement hull..... the BBIII is the planing hull.

I put the C rated on the mud boot trailer. The Scaup has the D rated ones I believe.

yeah... I bought a used one off of here several years ago.. I added a motor, and ended up getting a new drum from Fowl Plucker. works well, as long as the bird is dry.

I am coming to the party late... But my Chessies always were is the splash well with no issues(when hunting).. transport they are at my feet in the cockpit. I think the splash well on the honker was closer to 20-24"... And made more like the wells on a TDB Sea class

I made a 19' 3" Devlin honker.. that was heavily modified.. I sold it to Paul Meisenheimer a couple years ago.

Low as a layout boat will legally allow!!! 😁. Been wrapped up in getting use to the SBE3 28g... And loading up TG.. and developing loads...
