    The Great One...

Pat, thanks for posting those. I love sketches like that. Simple enough to capture the moment but your mind fills in all the detail needed. Each one could tell a story.

    Workshop Construction

Eric, Do you have attic trusses over the end without the doors? It looks like it with the closer truss spacing. I am looking into doing the same thing for some storage over a workshop. My planned layout is very similar to yours just smaller. I am limited to 1600sq. ft. Edit: Just read...

    Workshop Construction

Eric, With the bookshelf girts I don't think racking is something I would be worried about when choosing to finish the interior. Most pole buildings are left unfinished on the inside and use the traditional girt style with metal exterior. With the bookshelf girts AND finished interior you...

Good idea going with the bookshelf girts. Much easier to insulate/finish. Additional cost up front but worth it IMHO. Looks like a great space. I'm planning one about half the size of that for next year.

June - Whats on your workbench?

Tom, love the pose of that scaup. I need to start keeping some of the birds I make and put them in my rig instead of giving them away to friends, but they don't seem to mind and I enjoy making them. Steve, can't wait to see that killdeer in paint. I love watching those guys run around the...
