    Help With Cancelling Poleboat

Yes, basically. I believe they used similar blind systems from 14' on up . The top rail to upright connection can be made various ways w/conduit connectors if your using emt for construction of upright supports and blind wall top rail. Biggest job is sewing up the cordura for blind walls and...

    Boat Cover Materials

16 mil silver tarp laid over a conduit v frame built in sections easy enough to handle. The thinner ones go quick but I seem to get a fairly long life from the 16 mil. Just watch areas of contact that have sharper edges as it quickens holes forming.

    Help With Cancelling Poleboat

Not knowing width of cockpit I,d suggest a blind wall similar to the way TDB made them for their small boats. Cordura sides w/grass loops and a top rail that mounts onto uprights on 4 corners of cockpit. That way you could design bottom of blind wall where it meets combing to follow that curve...

    1989 Arthur Anderson Blackjack

Probably AA,s kit boat that they sold plans to. Factory built boats have always been fiberglass thru out hull and cap. They hide good, run good with about 20 to 25 h.p. motor. Draw about 4" loaded. Really the worthiness of the hull in this case depends on the skill of the builder so do a lot of...

    New member with first sneakboat

You might want to weigh that boat and get an idea if foam under floor has become water logged comparing present weight to weight from manufacturer brochure. I Bought one new back in early 90,s ,sold it and bought a jon as kids matured. for added room. Bought it back about 10 yrs. ago and...

    How to Repair Burlap Decoy

Simply sand area a bit to include area around damaged area . Apply mastic and burlap. Fill the weave on the burlap good with mastic. Let dry completely, prime & paint. This is assuming you don,t have to build up foam to proper contour in damaged area. Can,t really tell from pic.

    Question about motor

Thats the trick. Age of hull is 2 stroke era. Less weight than current 4 stroke motors by size. Look up some specs on motor weights of 2 stroke 40,s of the 2 stroke era and compare by weight to current 4 stroke motors weights. The matching weight will give you your current maximum motor size. 4...

    Mag Mallard Head source

If I recall Mighty Layout Boys use to sell a head to work on super mag decoys that might work. Maybe a mold cast off those. They are long out of business but i,m sure their heads still exist as they are about the toughest i,ve seen.

    Old Herters

I normally keep some lengths of thin electric fence style line cut into 16" lengths to insert thru head bolt hole with a hook bent on each end and just hang the decoys to dry after painting or restle coating. Allows full body coverage all at one time. Hung Out in the sun speeds up drying...

    Old Herters

The titebond 3 done with ground corn cob is a tough finish. I ,ve done 2 coats glue, non watered down, with 2 coats ground cob on a few dz. Herters and Fowl Fooler's and they've held up great for many years. Bought the ground cob in a 25 LB. bag from same company Fowl Foolers obtained theirs...

    Cartsen Mallard Sneak Boat

I,ve had a Bobcat in past and currently a Hellbender. While these style hulls can be paddled with a properly sized kayak paddle I feel the easiest propulsion is standing using a push pole. Especially once loaded with dog & decoys. If you,ve got long distances to paddle i,d look into something...
