I just got an email from GRAY'S editor, Mike Floyd. GRAY'S isn't ending. They are getting a new owner. He said in 2027 they plan to expand the size of the magazine. Just not taking new subscriptions until the new owner is in place. I can sleep better tonight!

Gray's Sporting Journal has announced that 2026 will be their last year. They are no longer taking subscriptions. Also Sporting Classics is having financial problems and missed an issue. They have stated they hope to be back on firm ground by this coming fall. All of this is a blow to many of us!

Another thing: I don't know anything about the four barrel battery. Didn't know they had one. Looks like a muzzle loader? Don't know if they want to sell as a package with the gun and punt. Keep it mind that the gun is a breach loader with brass shells. It is a much better gun that a muzzle loader
