What clear coat are you all using over acrylic painted decoys?

I think I remember reading that testors dullcote was a popular option. What others have you had success with?

I don't paint in acrylic, but I have a friend who has just used Windsor newton Matte picture varnish.

I've had best luck with Dullcote, both for decoys and model aircraft. There are a couple of other brands out there but they arent near as flat as dullcote.

I'm with Jode.'s suggestion. Use just a few washes of Traditions Matte Medium (still available through Deco Art), also mix it into my palette colors as I go. I was disappointed when they changed packaging from the 8 oz. bottles to the 4 oz. jar. But I still follow my "formula" of cutting it about 35/65 water to medium.
