But the Mississippi River is so low the back waters where I was hoping to find an open blind are not to be. I can't get my big ole V bottom back in these skinny waters. Soooo, I improvising. After getting a new outboard this year I know better than to ask for more. The Fed regulates blind locations in my part of the river and there are few spots to open hunt. This year it will be run and gun. I have modified a ground blind in hopes I can find an open island point or piece of shoreline that I can throw some decoys out. Has anyone made a duck blind out of a ground blind?
