Sweet vessel! I like the arc-bottom seen at the stern. Does that shape carry all the way forward? Did his bigger Garveys have such a shape?

I have often thought that the ideal Garvey would have some deadrise up forward - like a Chincoteague - but run a bit of camber all the way to the stern - to help horse the boat into navigable waters when the ebbing tide takes me by surprise.

SJS

I find that boat and ones similar very eye pleasing. I'm sort of surprised it hasn't been replicated by a boat manufacturer along the way. Of course the same could be said for other cool duckboats too.
