My 1918/1974 20ft perrine inboard sneakbox originally owned by Bonnet Gunning Club in Manahawkin NJ, then given to long time guide Lop Ridgway who used it until he stopped guiding gunning in 1970 at the age of 80. Lop then gifted it to Wally Chapman of Causeway Marina in Manahawkin were Lop kept the box. Wally made a full fiberglass hull off of the original sneakbox and finished the boat in 1976 and gunning it for two years. Wally gifted me the box in 2022 and is in line for a full restoration. The boat is 20ft long and 7ft wide she is a tunnel drive inboard with a keel cooler and dry exhaust. These boats were popular with local gunning clubs in Barnegat and Tuckerton Bay and in the 1940s the US Coast Guard Station 119 out of Tuckerton had a 24ft sneakbox. Pictures are of present day she needs a new floor, motor, transmission, and glass work to fix and replace the existing decoy racks. Other pictures are of the boat throughout the years dating back to 1938.
