Hello all, I have a new BBSB and think a boat fest would be geat. Would be nice to meet some new people as I don't post much here.

For a 2006 yamaha 15hp 2 stroke to have a light residue of oil down by the prop where the shear pin is. I just noticed this and not sure if this is normal, if its not normal what could it be. Note the motor was in storage and was winterized and maintained.

I don't own one, but I have heard that you really need a large motor to push these boats. I have heard of guys that have their 17' model and have to put 115 on them to get them on plane. Like I said this is what I have heard.
