Yes! I just meet Steve in person for the 1st time Saturday. He is a wealth of knowledge, and a friendly down to earth good guy. I like that video, it captures key parts of the decoys birth.

Congratulations, It's a great way of life. This season we will do a couple hunts together. There is so much to keep one intrest in waterfowl hunting. For me it keeps getting better, but I agree with you, I learned a lot on this site and took it to a new level. I also wish you another...

Looks to me like someone cut the bottom off artillery shell to make an ash tray.

My buddy was suggesting that we give them a try for Scaup. My only thought is that they will take up all the available space in the boat. I guess I'm used to putting out longlines, not too hard to do once you have the routine down

Today was the last day of the duck season here in CT. Started out with no wind and feeling warm in the lower 30's. The temperature creeped up, but so did the wind, and the snow squalls? Not much flying near my spot, but I managed to get a green wing teal ? She must have been quarantined here...

Does look like a good day. Good crew, full bag. And you stayed off the rocks. I'm glad someone had luck with the brant today.[smile] I stayed off the rocks, but was stuck on the sand for a little bit this morning.

Nick it has been a banner year for me too, but today the brant and scaup outsmarted me. I'm going one last time on Wednesday, might stick it out all day, I hope I don't spill my lunch! Andrea sound like a true duck hunter, a little grit, helps the ducks digest their food, it won't hurt us...

Great story and photos. I'll be almost embarrassed setting out my plastic brant decoys tomorrow. They work, but nothing like the beauties you have. Awesome rig. Come to think of it, I am setting out 2 cork divers to swim in front of my brant tomorrow. Thanks for sharing Mike
