    Beaver food?

Otter. They live in abandoned beaver houses all the time and they sometimes help getting rid of the previous tenants. LOL When beaver were worth $$ and we trapped under the ice, it was common to connect with otter anywhere around a beaver house and the slide below a dam is the number 1 otter...

I like the Herter's 72's in puddler and diver but I could see where a keel you could grab or...

    Herter's Decoys

I would answer you this way: Ten of thousands of birds have been killed over painted foam, typically on just foam I have primed with a really good primer once I took off any loose old paint and then apply your new paint. They are foam they will ding up but they will kill ducks, Restle/Trestle...

    Dogs in Cold Weather

I have hunted labs for the last 20 years and before that had a chessy, if the water was open they all hunted as long as they were not in danger of falling thru ice. I always figured if they can swim get out shake and get out of the wind that is what they do, lots of days in single digits. Labs...

    What the heck is this?

Big use for them was by the commercial fisherman that were netting under the ice. They could safely set nets and they had a way of transporting their catch.

    Decoy Id - Clintons?

I suspect that repair in the middle is where the previous owner had glued one of them spring "yoyo" anchor string retriever deals, there were pieces of them devices in the bag and parts of one glued to a different decoy, that's my hunch.

    Decoy Id - Clintons?

For sure not Herter's Heads they are not hollow and no stem. Guessing maybe a Clinton body that somebody coated with epoxy or something, they are foam with a really hard outer shell. Usually the Clinton's I have and seen have writing on the bottom no sign on these, unless it was no name mold...
