    Cabela's boat cart

SOLD Folding boat cart, great for marsh boats and canoes. Used this a fair bit with both, but sold the heavy marsh boat and would rather have some shelf space back for now. Wheels fold flat when not in use to store, fit in vehicle or right in the boat. Rolled great down gravel trails in our...

    Tom's Obituary - Service Feb 23

Tom was such a genuine guy, and will be truly missed, here as well as everywhere that others lives touched his. There are so many things we could say about him, so friendly, helpful, and supportive, and in that spirit, I wanted to let everyone know that a donation to Tom's memorial fund is...

    Canvas decoys

I did not realize how big a proponent of the canvas division Cliff was when I started going to The Ohio Decoy show, he is true friend of the decoy seamstress! I enjoyed the pool, I enjoyed hanging with a bunch of guys you wouldn't otherwise meet, talking about common interests, sharing...

    Canvas decoys

Mike Glad to be inspiring...back in the 80s I was inspired by Archie Johnson's article in DU. I really like cork too, and have a bunch or half finished deeks still in crates from moving over a year ago...one of these days! Chuck

    Ohio to South Dakota, anyone?

Jon, I picked up on the Greyhound Pacakge Express from Lou Tisch. I've shipped several swans that way, UPS was $250-300...I think Greyhound came in around 90 typically. Amazingly wasn't too bad of timing, one time I shipped a Friday to Virginia's eastern shore, arrived at the depot on Sunday...

    Keys/S Florida mid April...

I went canoe camping in the Everglades almost 20 years ago. It was an absolute unique experience camping on the chickee platforms. Probably the coolest thing was watching a pod of dolphins chasing a small school of fish up through the mangroves. I have some pictures but they were shot on film...

    Decoy bags...

So Jon wants to 'saw' some bags and Tom is having trouble 'seeing' in general...as the resident decoy seamstress, I think I will refer you to Steve Sanford...he is much better at spelling and grammar than myself. If you get past all that I'm sure he could assist with the sewing too! Chuck

    Old Duck Boat

Jon Sweet boat. Odd it was noted to be made in Dowigac MI, not renound for making duck boats that I am aware (about 45 minutes south of me) but resembles an east side of the big mitten boat and notes assisted by Chris Smith (Chriscraft) who is typically associated with the east side too...
