Ohio to South Dakota, anyone?

This is a longshot, but by any chance, is there anyone her traveling from NE Ohio to Western South Dakota in the near future?

I want to ship a box of tools to my kid out that way, and shipping costs are kinda pricey...

Good luck, I was going to purchase a Yamaha 6hp longshaft, but shipping estimates from NJ to the UP of Michigan were nearly half the purchase price for motor, stand, fuel tank and supply line.
 
Hey Jon-you should look into Greyhound for shipping, sometimes those rates are very good for what you need to ship.
 
Greyhound?! That's a bad word around here. The only experience we have with them, was the first time our son visited out that way, we put him on a Greyhound. Took him like 5 days to get there. It was so bad, he got there just in time, literally, to take the physical test to become a police officer, and he failed! Now, I'll tell you, I HS, he was a tremendous athlete, and played baseball, and was involved in MMA and Tae Kwon Do all thru college. He was no slouch, but sleeping on a bus for 4 nights, and eating very little sure took its toll!

I picked up on the Greyhound Pacakge Express from Lou Tisch. I've shipped several swans that way, UPS was $250-300...I think Greyhound came in around 90 typically. Amazingly wasn't too bad of timing, one time I shipped a Friday to Virginia's eastern shore, arrived at the depot on Sunday. The downside is you drop it at the bus station and your son will have to pick it up, and some of the small bus stations are not package equipped so he may have to drive a bit further. Check on line.

Another option is with the upcoming decoy show...you may get lucky.
