Glad you got him.I shot a pheasant once that the dog flushed at the edge of some woods.Dog went into to retrieve and didn't come right back.I walked into the woods and the bird had fallen into the crotch of a tree about 6 feet off the ground.

Like most,I use 3 different pairs in cold weather.I have a heavy gortex pair for the boat ride,rubber for picking up dekes,while hunting i use brown cotton gloves,I put handwarmers in the palms if really cold.Glad to hear you made it out ok,I hope there are no side effects.

Thanks Al,Bailey is almost 3,she was bred through artificial insemination,due to Labor Day weekend,shipping and vet visits were tough and I think we missed her peak ovulation period.There were 2,one was still born.The litter that Molly just had,(10) was done the same way,with the same...

My Bailey/Goose litter only produced one pup,Sadie is 8 weeks old.

Jeff,down here in southern NJ,it was about 8 degrees at sunrise,with wind gusts to 30.We got about 6 inches of powder over night.That's enough for me!!Stay safe and warm.

My lab Molly decided to have her pups 3 days early,she woke me up at 3am Tues morning,talk about a chinese fire drill!All is well and we have 10 healthy pups,5 blk,5 yellow,6m,4f.Happy New year to all!

Based on some of the locations on this site,I would say yes.Here in southern NJ,we don't get many days below 20,most of the winter is above freezing durring the day so not as much of a problemKnowing my labs,they wouldn't know when to quit and that could be a problem under the wrong...
