Anyone ever build or use an Amesbury skiff. This hull design caught my eye and I started doing some research. Lowell's boat shop sells the plans. It looks like some of these boats are planked with plywood? Do people use epoxy on these boats to seal the outside? I don't see how these clinker...

Nice hoodie Colin. I can't tell that much from the pics but it looks like the grain on your head might be in the wrong direction. It could make the bill very fragile if your grain is running vertically. Also when you glue your two halves of the body together the grain should be running into each...

Here's a brook trout mounted on a sign that I did for my sister for Christmas. She's been in Malaysia for the holiday so I've been procrastinating. It's solid white cedar and the sign is a piece of cedar I left rough cut.

I also enjoy all of Steve and Pats posts. I love the instructions and also seeing pictures of everyone's shops. Steve's post on the pilot house was a good one that stood out.

X2 for suzuki. I bought a 2013 15 hp for the lightweight and I actually think they are ahead of the times. It is the first battery-less fuel injection portable outboard. No more carb issues. I've had it for almost a year and have nothing but great things to say. Runs like a top.
