Unfortunately I think it is a sign of the times...the sound was definitely snotty today. I could of shot some Easter ducks ( Buffleheads ) gave them a pass. I am also done. Might try for some geese in the late season, definitely need some colder weather.

Yup, I have had labs all my life and have had several have this happen. They all did well with the surgery and rehab. I will say it is a expensive procedure and follow the recommendations of the vet. I build a ramp so the dog doesn't have to climb the stairs getting in an out of the house. Also...

Troy, thanks for bringing us along. Our season ends tomorrow, all I can say it has been the year of the wind and has been challenging to get on birds. That's why they call it duck hunting.

I can not say that I have had that experience ,but I have had plenty of situations when a guy pulls in to launch and proceeds right to the ramp then takes 20 minutes to a half hour to get ready. I always pull off to the side get everything ready before I proceed to launch.

Glad to see someone is getting some birds, the birds seem spotty at best. Shooting a triple On Sea ducks is quite a feat in itself,especially on sea ducks.
