Tom My motor will be able to charge the battery as well. The dealer said to go with the higher CCA so it doesn't cook the battery when charging.

Jim Do they make that battery in a 650cca? That is what my motor is calling for. I like the fact it weighs only 6lbs. Just need to start the motor and run my bow and stern lights as well

I run an Etec on mine. Fill up the oil tank in the beginning of the season then just top it off at the end of the season. Its oil injected that weighs about 160lbs
