    Not sure if I qualify to comment... but here goes. I purchased a 14 Classic knock off.. looked like it had fallen off a rack and drug around a race track.... I patched it up...and had to put a motor board on. I would have preferred to have used 3/4 meranti or okume, but it was not readily...

    Some pass shooting and for sure decoying birds. Eidernation.com Jamie will hunt all day if that is what it takes.. which is unusual. License was about $100. I know I paid a premium as I was out there for work.. and I called him the week before to set it up... He let me use his brand...

    Yeah .. I have TOO MUCH Filson... according to my wife... My go to gear! My Filson sweater was picked up prior to the increase... the price and the windstopper is why I have 2 of the Cabelas! My Filson is rarely my hunting sweater...

    I prefer off the water.. or rocks.. Sand just sucks!!! especially in the rain.. the sand sticks to everything!!!! LOL.. but it was a target rich environment!

    I have 2 of the Cabelas wool pullovers with Windshear... I always wear the one that is 20+ years old.. lots of thread... sewing up worn areas and holes.. I love my filson Henley/Waterfowler, but needs a windstopper layer.. but.. sadly .. none for sale...

    Well.. I did find a guide on the Cape... Let me use his gun...and took me for 1 day. I have never hunter eiders from the beach .. but it worked!.. I brought a lot of sand home with me!!!
