    3 Pintails

Allowed on west coast and central as well. I swore the only reason it wasnt in effect last season was because it was approved 1 week after the seasons limits were finalized. So they approved it to start 25/26 season. Last I heard was 3 pintails, didnt necessarily make up drake/hen ratios. I...

    2025 Devlin Snow Goose Thread

Hit the design right on the head then! " The snow goose, the bird that goes full throttle, no porpoising, and wheelies for life... Max speed of 20 mph, even with a 150hp hanging off the back! As frustrating as hunting the species! Specially made just for you!"

A hook is absolutely no good. I have seen what hooks do in that area of a boat on the nitro z7 line. Its the bass boat I have, and if the hull is good, they are speed demons, if theres a hook, its never getting on plane. People thought i was nuts when I was looking for my z7 because the first...

Trailer issues revisited - really need some help

I would bet you could find a trailer shop to get you to weld a new spindle on vs buying a new axle. There is a trailer shop just down the road, buy the spindle, pull the trailer around the shop and they will have it welded right up in about 20 min. Pretty slick.

Trailer issues revisited - really need some help

You sure you aint crab walking with this fine tune up of a bent axle down the road?! How you gon hit me with its "barely bent" and then show me Steve Buscemi teeth crooked for an axle! That aint just a wee bit bent, that sucker is not looking well. Replace and will certainly help. I dont think...

Trailer issues revisited - really need some help

And let me add... if your tire PSI was within the range printed on the sidewall, then this should be enough to claim manufacture defect. No reason tires should ever look like this after 500 miles. Ive pulled many trailers empty and heavy, and in both circumstances, well over 500 miles, and never...

Trailer issues revisited - really need some help

If that happened in 500 miles, I would be getting replacements under warranty from the company. Bent axle or not, I really dont think a tire should look like that in 500 miles no matter what. Just my .02. Heres my reasoning, think about alignment on vehicles. Yes I know im comparing apples to...

    Jon boat

I run a semi v 1756 mstc and get real shallow with mine. It takes a lot to scare me. This is what I get wild in also with 30-40 mph winds. Although not recommended at all. I always think how stupid I am when I get back into a warm truck, and I always wonder which day I won’t return home. I think...

    Jon boat

Jon boats arent the best for taking big waves and rough waters. They are light compared to fiberglass boats. My bass boat is WAY more comfortable than my jon boat. I will say this though, I have had my jon boat out on windier and rougher water than my bass boat and I have made it home just fine...

    Jon boat

Im actually going to build one for my havoc this offseason. Last season was the first time in my life I ever wanted a blind on my boat. With that said, Im going to build mine with 1" metal conduit instead of PVC. Does your boat have the rail system? Theres some decent youtube videos on how...

    Jon boat

What are you asking specifically? What are your intentions with the boat? It looks more set up for fishing than hunting with that Bimi top. What kind of recs are you seeking out? What kind of experience are you in question of? Ive run a tiller style jon boat with a mud rig for many many years...

    Tohatsu vs Suzuki

The only thing I would say is be careful doing this. You know if a mercury negative and positive touch and they have just enough charge in them still, you will blow up an ECM. Lots of this documented on the interwebs. I dont ever unhook anything. I just plug it in and let it sit. I dont leave it...

    Tohatsu vs Suzuki

NOCO NOCO NOCO.... All I am going to say. I put a 4 bank Gen 4 pro NOCO on my bass boat. Its legit, and you can charge multiple different batteries all off the unit. Each run of wires has its own battery option. I put in my bass boat last year, in hopes lithiums would come far enough along to...

    Tohatsu vs Suzuki

Lithium recharging was the issue. My buddy who is in the MLF actually had a boat fire a few years ago when everyone was going to lithiums trying to get an edge in weight. The onboard chargers just werent right for lithium recharging. That was his issue, woke up to his 90k bass boat on fire at 1...

    They're SO CLOSE!!!

I agree with you and i have seen outboards get damn shallow. I know for a fact there are 2 spots where an outboard cannot get that I love to hunt. Trust me Ive tried, and ive rebuilt lowers. Its unfortunate because if it werent for these holes, I wouldnt even own a surface drive.

    They're SO CLOSE!!!

And people like you said the same things when surface drives first hit the market. No one will want a lawn mower engine that goes slower than an outboard. Everyone said it made more sense to to put hydro jps with big outboards to get shallow. Look where we are now and the market thats in the...

    They're SO CLOSE!!!

Unfortunately I heard back from Pro-drive. I reached out about having my boat fitted with one of their new XTF-50's. I was told no. Has to be a true flat bottom. I told them about having the MSTC with reverse chines and there being a spot that is true flat bottom that would fit the reservoir...
