A Nice One From Local Game Land (story)

Larry, That day sounds pretty hard to beat. How much meat do you reckon you'll get out of it? I've never hunted deer (yet) chasing birds always was my priority, but now that I am dogless, I might see if I can get a little blacktail next year with my .357 Lever action 1894c. Great...

Yes, thank you Dani. I suppose that now I'll have to acquire a 3rd corn dog and ready it for shipping. Perhaps it would prove more efficient for me to just get a case of them to have on hand?

    well this sucks

I ended up taking some flat galvanized sheet metal and attached it to the back of the boat. I was then able to take some magnetic tow lights and just stick em on the back of the boat.

I think that the high selenium content of the clams is what causes their bills to be blue.

Bluebills eat clams. Where did those women get all of the clams to feed them?

    Reggie's intro to live birds

Dani, Good job for getting them out to work together. I used to take a frozen Bufflehead and put it in a womens nylon stocking. We'd grab the frozen bird anytime we went to go for a walk in the fields/woods. I'd lob it into the brush and sometimes get the dog to sit and wait for me to...

Look Carl, When we started this, you never mentioned anything about the possibility of needing another corn dog. I am not sure how wagering works over where you and this previously unmentioned 3rd party (daughter) to the corn dog wager are? Over here we don't do 3rd party corn dog deals...

So are you saying I owe you a corn dog, or do I also have to get one for your daughter? Those things ain't cheap man. It isn't like corndogs just grow on trees.

    Whatcha Listening To?

I just recently found this group. It would lend itself well to symphonic adaptation IMO. The woman has an incredible voice and the music is tight and heavy and dynamic. An interesting juxtaposition of such powerful music mixed with such a gentle voice...

Need to start over - recommendations sought

What would happen if you put the smaller flavor harbor freight powerplant on your current set up. You said you've got the 15hp cranking your longtail. Why not downsixe the powerplant and get that extra weight off the transom. You'll draw less water and it might allow you to get into the...

    Thanksgiving Fishin

We shot Cichlids with My buddies buckmark pistol. It was up in a hot spring in Idaho of all places. They are invasive there, and we could see for about 10 miles all around. My buddy blasted them and as soon as they came undone, all of their friends came in to eat them.

That is a pretty good mix of different species. Very good to bring back as many "eaters." I am so jealous.

That is quite a stringer of fish there Carl. how are you going to cook them? What is that long looking one? It looks like a fast one whatever it is. I got out yesterday, the 10th time this fall and finally managed to beach a steelhead. Usually by now I'm knocking em dead on the...

The First Rule of Duck Club is

I liked to grind all the divers and mergansers into duck pepperoni. There was a butcher shop in town that would make it for me for cheap, and it was good too.

Bob, Great shots and so glad to hear that you were able to get out there and get that dog a positive first time. You should be glad that you were there to see the first of hopefully many great days out there for him.., You ought to frame that first photo of Hobbs, it's just perfect. Steve...
