    Grumman Sportboat Repaint/Power/Field Testing Update

I scored an Osage Cargo canoe and was lucky. Just as much boat as the Grumman I've been searching for all these years and 1200 cheaper

    Waders - The usual question

I got a pair off DANS OUTDOORS waders made for me a few years ago. They are had made by the Amish so you are able to give them the sizes you want. BE CAREFUL though....if you give them a chest size that is what you get....same with waste. Mine fit great but no room for a insulated coat so...

Anyone have a 17' Osage Cargo Canoe?

Had the opportunity to go out in it the other day and it was all I wanted it to be. Not as stable as a Gheenoe but not #150lbs either.

Anyone have a 17' Osage Cargo Canoe?

Oh it will be etched and painted. Will run it with a 4hp OB and a 6.5 Backwater long tail. I cartop and this is about as big as I can handle. Need to try and fab a yoke for it but will most likely cartop like I do my 12' V-Hull and flip over on the stern (bow over stern into the water from...

    Lets see those turkeys!

I still have plenty of opportunity here in Maine. Predator #s are up but as a direct result of turkey and deer #s. Flock dispersal does seem different though. Yesterday had a Tom and 4 Jakes in one group and a Tom by himself. The larger group cutoff the lone Tom as it was coming to me at...

    Lets see those turkeys!

Great bird. I've noticed they are definitely "different" this year. Very little gobbling and they seem to "cool off" very fast so hard to trigger that come in hard and fast response
