    Safety on the water.

    I wear my inflatable always when in my duckboat. I changed to a auto inflate about 2000. Also have a regular pfd for a spare. The life you save may be your own.

    New - Boat build advice

    Try a 13' whaler, I decked over the bow for fly fishing. Also have a Southbay for the tidel marsh. One boat just won't fit.

    Tod, don't think it would be a problem. I would repack the bearings, have extra bearings seals and tools. I would go with new tires and have the older ones for spares, just don't overload the trailer. Never had a bearing fail. I use USA made bearings [timkin], not west marine [ china ]. Truck...

    Trailer tires

    Only way to check alignment on the trailer is to remove the boat. They are built in a jig and are pretty square. My axle was off [ used, too cheap to buy new ]. I took off tires, measured from tongue to each axle, also measure from tongue to each corner, tongue may be bent. While your the check...

    WD 40 is a great product and has many uses. WD is made to dissipate water. If you submerge the gun in Salt water, spray it with WD heavily and drop off at the gunsmith, do not remove wood stocks. Sxs and o/u do not fair well in soaking rain or using as a paddle. Break open guns are like fine...

    Looks like over inflation to me. I put tubes in all my tires, if you pop a bead it will reseal. Check the axel alignment.

    Locking Gun Rack

    Try a welding shop and make a cable to go around all the guns. Friend did his gun case foe extra security.

    Bob, match the hatch. Drive around and see what is hanging around where you will be gunning. We do not see many brant here, but if I gun further west I take 8-9 brant decoys.
