    Hearing Aids

I hate to put this out there, but is there a decent hearing aid out there that doesn't cost thousands? I've tried some of the amplifiers, but the static they make drives me nuts. I did have a Beltone a few years ago but the dam thing worked for about 1.5 years and then crapped out when it was...

    Gobble Gobble in every tree

Out scouting Sat morning, and only heard one gobble but it's still early yet. I did see the most geese I've seen all season though. Had to be almost 1000 in four different flocks that were flying hard South on a mission to someplace. Maybe they will come back around this fall.....

    What's your preference

Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate or White Chocolate (which really isn't chocolate). For me it's dark chocolate all the way. Occasionally I'll eat some milk chocolate but it's not my fave. I do like white but usually only have it around Easter time.

    Chincoteague Island area curiosity.

Are those known as "curtain blinds" or is that something different. Does anyone down there still "Body Boot" hunt or is that a thing of the past ? I'd like to try either style sometime.

    Johnny Stewart

We all recognize the name. It's been a go to for years, but who was Johnny Stewart? I know nothing about the man or his history with the outdoors. Anyone have any information about Johnny?

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

Thanks for the tip Craig, I'll have to tell my wife it was cleaned earlier this season.......

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

Because Jay K wrote that he took it to the dry cleaners and they shrunk it, and I'm not going to take any chances with my favorite sweater.

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

My wife say's my sweater smells, but I can't tell. She wants to take it to the dry cleaners but after reading Jay's post I think I'll get some Woolight and wash it in cold water here at home. If anything happened to my sweater, I'd come unglued. It's pretty much a part of every hunt I go on....

The "Model Duck Boat Exhibition" March 2024

Wow, some impressive models for sure. I can see the guy, in my mind, sculling at night with the battery. Those were the days

    I Need A Vehicle Change...

I went to Denver from Girard Pa. in Aug 2022 to buy a high mileage, rust free, 2007 Toyota Tundra with 213000 on it. I paid 16,500 but the truck was so clean you could eat off it. I brought it home and did a FULL maintenance on it. You name it, it's been done. Now with 237,500 on it, it rides...

    Whatcha Listening To?

I've been listening to a lot of Blues and really honed in on : Christophe "Kingfish" Ingram. He's young but he can really play the blues. I also listen to Justin Johnson a lot, the guy really needs to be a bigger star. He builds and plays a lot of his own guitars, including a 3 string shovel...

    I Need A Vehicle Change...

Don't talk yourself into taking a bath on the new Taco. Keep what you have, it will grow on you after all it is a Toyota. Look out west Seattle, Portland, Denver, and find an everyday driver that's clean and not all rusted out and get it for your secondary ride. It's a shame you sold the 85...

    Kobuk wader review

I looked at Kobuk earlier this past season and thought that the price/value looked pretty good. Now that you have reviewed them I think I'll pull the trigger because my Rogers Tuff Man have a leak in the right leg and I can't sit around wet anymore. You can't beat the price and Kobuk has been...

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

Will do. I bought mine from Cabelas years ago. They were on closeout and I paid less than 60 dollars brand new. I wish I would have bought a couple of them at the time. I'll check it out Dave, thanks for the link.

    ISO: Waterfowl Sweater

They always are available on ebay. I look all the time for another one since I use mine non-stop all season long but haven't found a 2x. There's always XL available in camo and solid colors. Type in wind shear sweater and you'll find one. Usually they are not cheap though.

    Ice boat

I am located just outside of Erie Pa., so I would be looking to use the boat at Presque Isle. There hasn't been much ice the last couple of years but hope that changes in the next couple. Thanks guys for the suggestions, I will check them out.
