    Ever see this?

I've seen skegs on well used commercial outboards which were worn almost completely down to the base, still chugging along with no apparent issues. Cheap "fix", cut it off and grind a new shape to it.

    Cork decoys

If you use resin, thin it down so it soaks in better and to flow into all the nooks and crannies.. I used coal tar epoxy once years ago, and while it looked like it completely covered, it didn't quite get into all the cracks and thus soaked up water...

    Gifting game

I've always heard the "don't need a warrant" nonsense, not exactly true..They can not enter your domicile without a warrant, that would be an illegal search and seizure protected by whatever amendment, Game officers included, Of course if you give them permission then all bets are off. People...

Then if you feel strongly enough make a complaint, Maybe the chief first, then IA when you get nowhere with the chief...

    Planning hulls - Sailboat

These boats really aren't designed for a motor, or much weight on the stern, and are relatively narrow for the length. I made up a sailfish hull which is 10' , and it came out nice, but no way would a outboard have worked. You would also have to put twin keels under it to account for the V, or...

    spotted lantern flies

The mix I use for stink bugs only has about 1/4 cup or less, I just make it by eye now, it works even at the lesser amounts, The mix also has white vinegar in it, again by eye, not sure what the vinegar adds to the mix, I'm guessing the soap alone is what does the deed.

    Shallow Water Pole Anchors

Have you tried bamboo? very stiff, very light, and it floats.. I have a 16' pole about 1 1/8" at the base that I heat treated, usually just use it as a depth sounder, edge finder, but the other day I needed it to pole my 21' skiff a short distance and it worked very well, better then I expected...
