Chris, in 2008 I happily paid $350 for a 1984 or 5 Nissan 5 horse, 2-stroke. It's still running, and I'm still quite happy with it. $500 sounds like a decent price to me if your prospective motor is running well.

Steve, that's a great idea. My 870 could definitely use some improving (I'm primarily a saltwater duck hunter as well). Wish I'd heard about this way back before duck season was imminent. I wonder how long it would take before a gun painted in this manner would be dry enough to use?
