    NDR-Tablesaws and Miter Saws

As far as usage, it will be used on a weekly basis for projects and side jobs. I have plenty of room so I planned on a cabinet model saw and build my work table around the saw. I am wanting the equipment to stay true and not have to adjust my cuts due to the saw getting off and not staying true...

    NDR-Tablesaws and Miter Saws

I have been out of the woodworking scene for several years and have made do with just your normal hand power saws. I am looking to start buidling up my woodworking equipment again. I am going to be in the market for a good quality tablesaw and miter saw and wanted to get opinions from those who...

Something interesting I learned today regarding the USCG boat testing

You would be surprised how clean USDA inspected facitlities are and how they operate. Now FDA I can't say as much for them, I know of quite a few horror stories. Plus they are both government organizations, one being unconstitutional, so you think they actually work?? LOL

Eric P - and anyone else around N. Alabama may find this interesting

Both of you bring up valid points. Eric, I only knew of one Whooping Crane being shot over by Weiss two years ago. I am all for throwing someones butt in jail for killing something they are not suppose to or over the limit without any questions being asked. You have been around longer than I...

Eric P - and anyone else around N. Alabama may find this interesting

Carl, I haven't done my homework but a good friend of mine that his family is in the farming business told me that all GMO crops are banned from being planted on the refuges, I will try and find out more so I can give you a better answer. Considering 90% of the sandhill population stays on...

Eric P - and anyone else around N. Alabama may find this interesting

Doesn't really surprise me about the Sandhills, numbers have been increasing every year. Within 5 years we should be able to hunt them with a lottery type system. But with the ban of GMO crops, I wouldn't expect the numbers to stay up like they have in the past.

True trophy and a RARE beauty

The customer left the mount up to the taxidermist, I would probably say a flying pose. The top left drake in the table pic will be mounted along with the "blonde". She was definitely an old bird and surprised she has made it that far! I'm just curious how many offspring she might have out there.

True trophy and a RARE beauty

I wish this was my bird, but it's not. I'm just glad I got to be part of process of getting it to the taxidermist and then back to customer once finished. On the skinning table.. And Carl, all of those came from your neck of the woods!

some pics after the storm and an ID ???

I believe in will just fall in your daily duck limit instead of species limit, or at least that's how it is down here.

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

Everything was guided, way too expensive and dangerous to try and freelance seaducks on your own for the first time. Bankes boat was the 25' Titan. Hunted with Jeff Coats, Reilly McCue, and John Livoti.

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

It cooled down in between states, it even got a nice warm bath in the Best Western in Long Island (had to break loose the salt and the marsh mud).

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

I will keep that in mind, the trip for the RBM included a wide variety of birds I have not taken yet so that's why I opted for that location.

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

That was due to the guide being himself! The Brant and RBM's were my favorite birds to hunt the whole trip.

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

I've got 7 species left to officially have all 32, but that does not include all the subspecies. Hopefully by the time I retire I will have most if not all of them that way I can relax in my trophy room and enjoy the memories I made while harvesting all the birds.

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

I drove myself crazy for about 3 or 4 years chasing after those things in my home town on our wintering lake, there's always a handful and that's it. Chasing after a small flock of birds on 69k acres will drive you crazy. I would have loved to get the Common Mergansers on this trip but time ran...

    East Coast Trip..pic heavy

I have been wanting to do the whole East Coast hunting for several years now and finally committed to it after last hunting season. I started contacting and planning everything in February, and needless to say it was very successful in my book. A huge thanks goes out to everyone involved and...

    Lost White Wing Scoter

First white wing I've heard killed around in North AL in years. I found some in March a few years ago. I know of three longtails that have been killed on Guntersville this year, a drake and two hens.
