    I too love the ward pintails...the cans and broadbills get all the love but this is probably my favorite pintail I always thought Greyson made a great pintail gunner too.. and Mueller always a favorite...

    FS:Mallard Pintail Hybrid Decoy

    This is the decoy I posted in this months workbench thread. Since it wasn't carved as a commission it is available. Its carved from cork with a cedar head, and a pine keel with brass hardware, painted in traditions acrylics. The tail is my usual soda bottle with craft foam. I'd like $150 for it...

    what a month...love those eiders! cool idea for a turkey too, break from the traditional "shorebird" style bird on a stick. This started life as a mallard, but the longer it sat on the painting table the more I saw this in it. Finally just sat down and painted it.
