Yeah and no pressure cooker is really needed to get started, you can simmer (not boil) for a long time (like 8 hours +) until you decide if you like it. A pressure cooker is needed for canning, so there is that, but stock freezes well.

NDR - Autoimmune disease, any Rheumatology visit advice?

Good to hear you had a good visit. One thing I've learned is that you have to advocate for yourself and that can play out in many ways. Don't you have family that you visit in Mn? I thought I remembered that.

Yes, for Lyme it ask for the Western Blot, that indicates current and previous infection.

    Turkey hunting,,,,,,,,,,, not really

That looks like a great alternative! I've wondered about drifting or using a trolling motor and calling for turkeys from the boat if that would work. You could have the decoys on posts that could be adjusted to match the elevation.

NDR - Autoimmune disease, any Rheumatology visit advice?

Sorry to hear it buddy, sucks. I'll have to second or third the tick borne disease tests, but I have to think that they checked that given that you are pretty close to where Lyme is endemic. I've had Lyme a couple times and 2 summers ago Jen ended up in the ICU in Wyoming with a mystery illness...

Are you familiar with 18650s? that is where I'd start. It takes a few bucks to get set up with the batteries and charger, but more than worth it, especially since these lights throw 1000 plus lumens and will run an insanely looong time and are tiny. They are kind of boutique and change models...

    Turkey Season

The 18650 batteries are the game changer and the Zebralights are a nice addition on top. For big game hunts and backpacking up to 10 days, it is nice to not have to consider battery charge and the ability to have a LOT of light on hand. I was carrying a second small backup headlamp (tikka...

    Turkey Season

I like to have the standard call types at my disposal, but 95% of birds are killed or at least finished with a diaphragm. I use a Halloran long box (with a holster, love that holster) and a Woodhaven cherry crystal as a slate. Mainly I like to have a box and slate along to mess with when calling...

    Lighting shop with track lighting...

That is one of the reasons I was thinking of track lighting. You can get all sorts of fixtures, including simple ones that you can just screw in a spot or flood light, so the light doesn't need to come from directly overhead, but can come in from multiple lights (from the right, left and behind...

I think it is criminal for anyone to just take the breasts and legs and thighs. There is so much goodness in the lesser parts of the bird, I'd fry the gobble if I could get the breading to stick. Turkey stock More turkey stock Carcasses for stock. Turkey burger Turkey nuggets more...
