    Mice, not duck related

That's what we use. I didn't think to mention it. Thanks.

    Mice, not duck related

I use the buckets. One in the camper and 3 in the basement/garage. Water and a little antifreeze. Try one in the garage. Im rural here on the island. You can't keep them out. Put enough fluid in the bucket that they can't stand on their hind legs above the fluid line and get a dip net to get...

    2025 deer

Congratulations on a fine buck. Bow season has been unsuccessful so far but next Friday is firearm deer season. I'm hopeful.

    Boat blind ideas?

I found my leak today. It's the tube through transom the plug goes into. So far I couldn't find any other location. I could feel water coming into the boat on the bottom of the tube. I tried 3 different plugs to rule out the plug. Then, the temp light came on and the motor went into limp mode...

    Boat blind ideas?

I'll look into it. I used Gator Glide on a boat some years ago and my experience was it was junk. I had good luck with Gluevit on a 14ft v bottom years ago but it was tedious as you applied it to individual rivets then heated so it would flow under the rivet

    Question For Retired Hunters

I enjoyed reading your story Fred. My dad was the same type as yours and think they could have been great friends. My dad would drag me out in some of the nastiest weather but I was always ready to go. We had our last duck season and deer season in 2000. He never gave up or complained. We shot...

    Question For Retired Hunters

Hi Eric, I think for duck hunting has retired me. Moving around the country put me in a solo hunter position for one thing. You do things different when you hunt solo. You don't hunt as hard, or go as far and certainly avoid opportunities to get hurt. Opportunities that require groups always...

    Boat blind ideas?

I've made this type of blind in the past and I use a 1/2" ID pex tubing zip tied to the bottom of the material. My blind reaches the water and water in the tubing keeps the material taunt even when the wind blows. My Lund is leaking enough now I need to run the bilge after about 4 hours of being...

    Boat blind ideas?

I'd love to find a beavertail but even the used ones here are as expensive as new. For the few places I could use one I'm hard pressed to pay the price.

    Boat blind ideas?

Here's my attempt at a fold down blind on my 12 ft boat. Trying to keep the cost down so I'm salvaging Stuff out of the basement and garage. I have two hub marsh blinds that I will remove the metal hub parts and attach to the horizontal poles and attach layout blind grass I have to them then...
