    Making progress.... Fairing applied and sanded. 6oz glass set. This morning it was still tacky (what I was hoping!), so mixed up more epoxy with micro balloons to fill the cloth. One more sanding and should be ready for paint this weekend.

    My 1905 scooter was damaged when a tree out back uprooted and fell. It drove one of the tent frames through the deck. I slid a board between to prevent any water leaking into the hull, but it failed to keep the mice out! The grey layout suit was trashed. Fortunately, the deck damage...

    Similar to what Steve does, I made this jig. I was able to bend the conduit with it, aluminum likely would be easier.

    Riley, welcome aboard..... the archives of this site will take up more hours than you have, but there is great info to peruse. Where possible, I would not replace with plywood. The beauty of these vintage craft is their functionality. I mistakenly over engineered my BBSB refurb back in 2009...
