    It’s worked out fairly well and I’m done sewing now. I learned a lot during the process! I just need to change a few things on the frame to make it work better and I’ll call it done.

    I’m kind of wishing I wouldn’t have started this project but I’m too deep to quit ! I want more stubble straps but man they are time consuming! This old sewing machine I found in my buddies shed is doing pretty good. Sewing with a 15 month old lab around is a real excercise in anger...

    I’ve been working on place training as well as daily marks on land and water with 13 week old Skaði, let’s see your dog sit on the wall like that!! I swear it was right side up.

    Here’s a quick and dirty keel hook decoy weight mold. I need to make a pin for the line attachment hole. Makes a fairly ugly weight but I’m coming to grips with that. I think I’ll put another cavity in there and double production

    Canoe racks?

    I use the rack on my topper, where the canoe extends over my cab I use 2 of those foam car top boat carrier blocks. This works well for me.

    What have I got here?

    Since it wasn’t raining yesterday I flipped them over and tried to sort out all the wood parts , some I figured out, some I have no idea where they go. Then I put one in the water and poled it around a bit.

    My neighbor dropped these off , thought I might like them. I do. I’m not sure what I’ll do with them yet but I have ideas. I’m not sure if they are commercially made or not…. Maybe herters?? Anyone seen them before? He had no idea on their origin.
