Anyone seen new Remington scatterguns on the racks?

Nope. Only "new" Remington I have seen at a gun shop was 2 years ago. When I bought a adl 700 in 6.5 creedmoor from a local shop. Barrel is stamped RemX. Local shop has never gotten another new Remington, even though he has tried. I do see new 870's listed online but nothing new in my local...

    Who shoots a 28 gauge?

I'm not sure about factory loads of tss. I load my own. Pretty simple to do and not as expensive to get into as you might think. That and the handload data for tss is worlds better then what I have seen people post and talk about with factory tss ammo.

A fine wood stocked Remington 1100 in 28 bore is my dream gun.

    Who shoots a 28 gauge?

Check Boss shotshells website. They were supposed to be reworking their loads with a custom made all copper pellet. Not sure if they have it up and going yet.

    Who shoots a 28 gauge?

Tungsten is still available and being imported. Bought some from my supplier. Also BPI has American made tss shot now. Same gairiffe high price they normally charge but it's available. I either use a 1 oz duplex load of 8 tss and 4 steel or a straight 3/4 oz load of number 8 tss. Both in a 2...

    Layout Blind suggestions?

My only other suggestion would be a backboard and ghillie blanket setup like we use in the snow goose fields.

    Speaking of Clothing...

I have never found anything to wear on my head. That was warmer then a rabbit fur lined leather bomber hat.

    E-bikes, pretty much a non-issue for me

They used to make a cart that would attach to a normal bike. I had one at one time, I would use for duck hunting a few spots. Can't remember who it was made by. Would work great for carting a deer back out. Still a chore too doit with a petal bike. But better then dragging it.

    Mobil Hunting Camp

Never had or used a toy hauler. But the last couple of campers I have had. I installed a hitch to the rear bumper. So I could pull my boat as well. Did a lot of out of state duck/deer hunting that way.

    Duck dog

Have never once in my life needed a "shock collar". To me if you have to have that means one of two things. Your dog is a stubborn male or you s@#$ at training a dog and don't have the mental aptitude for it or a severe lack of patience. You know why more male dogs win the "show games"...

    Duck dog

I don't know of any breeders up that way mainly because Im in Louisiana. Here is my advice. Buy the book water dog and follow it to the letter. Have used that training manual for ever dog I have owned, works great and makes a amazing dog. Always pick a female. Never a male. Males are hard...

    Aluminum Boat Designs

Google devlin black brandt III in aluminum. There have been a few devlin designs built by folks out of aluminum. Check Google and it should pull up some threads on duckhuntingchat, The refuge and maybe one or two other online forums about people building devlin designs out of aluminum.

    NBR. Free range bacon.

Leaning towards the ole crack barrel. It's 96 degrees right now, so 95 to 93 degrees when I get to the woods later this evening. Don't really feel like packing a 7 plus pound gun. For a 600 yard walk in this heat.

    NBR. Free range bacon.

Typically that would be correct. But at night under feeder lights, in tight woods. You really never get more then one shot at them.
