Same color as a rabbit. Matter of fact, if you put rabbit and nutria on the pit next to each other. You can't tell the difference between the two.

    Layout/Paddle Opinions

Something made by fourrivers like the sobads or possibly the ebads or the carstens canvasback is what I would be looking at. I have done more then my fair share of paddle in hunting from kayaks and canoes and prioges (as we call them in Louisiana) and a more wider boat will always beat the...

    NBR. Free range bacon.

I hated using a 5 dollar shell but he needed killing. Hate to see a animal waste away like that. That reminds me I need to kill a few this winter for the freezer. Coon/venison sausage and turnips cooked in a black iron pot served over rice with corn as a side dish. Is OMG yummy comfort food...

    NBR. Free range bacon.

Depends on what they have been eating. I feed year round. (7) Chestnut trees, plus I make my own blend of feed that has corn, roasted soy bean (crushed) roasted walnuts and roasted pecans. Plus I keep 3 food plots planted year round. I also provide water year round with minerals mixed in. Do...

    2025 Devlin Snow Goose Thread

Looks great. I'm digging the green stripe. That would be a great name for the boat. "The Green Streak" sounds good to me.

I'm already back in town, headed home, stuck behind he train 😂 😂 😂 Had a coon with the onset of rabies come out before dark. But my feeder lights wouldn't come on(dead batteries). So I waited for absolute last light then walked over to them to double check them. Coon moved off a few feet. So...

    NBR. Free range bacon.

I'm hoping to get a couple of them. Need some pork bellys to make bacon, need some pork roast to make venison burger with this winter. Need some back strap to put in the smoker. Need one about 35 to 45 pounds to put in the Cajun microwave. I'm wanting sows, we use the bore's for...

    NBR. Free range bacon.

Doing a lil hunting for my freezer tonight. Sweating like a hog lol. Took the ole 390 and some 398 grain number 4 buck tss handloads tonight, instead of the rifle. Had them on camera the last three nights right before dark. Hopefully they show up again tonight. Air temp is 86 with a light but...

I almost forgot be sure to check GunBroker.com, sometimes they have barrels listed as well.

    Boat blind height

Here's my take. The height really isn't all that important. Adding brush/grass to match the spot your hunting and being on the X is most important. Second most important thing, is getting rid of the BIG BLACK HOLE. I have been very lucky, that I was involved with a lot of drone work shooting...

    Shooting School

Couple of points to note. I Did do some experiments with it. My dad can't hit the broadside of a barn half the time with a shotgun. Mostly because he refuses to fit the gun to himself. So I put it on his gun and we sighted it in at 30 yards to be poi/poa correct. He was able to hit 21 out of 25...

    Shooting School

I checked out the aimpoint sight as well. But it didn't really fit my wants/needs. Not that it is/was are will be a bad sight. Just not well fitting to my needs. I like a small simple dot, as well as a lower profile sight housing. That and I trust vortex's lifetime warranty policy. So that's...

    Rail bird Skiff

I know of some 2 1/2 hull data. Cylinder choke and get the speed up and it patterns pretty good, even for small birds like rails, Coots and teal ducks. I haven't used any tss in the 410 bore but have used it in the 28 all the way up to 12 bore.

    Rail bird Skiff

Plenty of reloading data out there for the .410 and tss shot. Most people use 9's and half oz loads.
