    Buckingham Movies

I hope you get a reply on this Eric. A few years ago one of the Long Islanders put up a link to some 60's era shooting movies from the south shore(I think). These are fun to watch and also show how much physical effort and discomfort you had to go through to go duck hunting if you weren't on a...

Do members here consider finding books of their interests Hunting?

Brad, I read just as you do and share many of those topics in addition to outdoors and sporting writing. I will also read a classic from time to time, and really like a good spy or intrigue yarn. Two or three books going. Reading is a way of life for me.

    Live Decoys Making A Comeback?

Yes, I do remember the discussion about the correct number of black duck decoys to use in a correct black duck stool. There was quite a bit of highly intellectual conversation on that topic, of which I was certainly a participant. But the true brilliance was whomever it was that let out the true...

    Live Decoys Making A Comeback?

I have always felt that mechanical/electric decoys should be outlawed. I don't like wing spinners and decoys that spout water or jiggle or anything else that takes a battery. It gets beyond hunting to just filling a game bag. If you need this stuff then you are missing the point. It is why we...

    Historical sneakboxs

Hi Bob-great pics and great boat. Did you have this boat at the Tuckerton show maybe 15 years ago? I saw one there and spent some time looking at it. I obviously don't remember who it was. I loved the idea of doing something so different.

    Todd's tutorial

That's a good intro to duck calling. Not that I am a master or anything.......and I miss all of my dogs that are gone, but I leave the bowl out for my last one now too, as you noted a while back. It makes me happy to see it and helps me remember all of the good times with her and the others. And...

Advice on sneakbox - AA Broadbill or MLB Wigeon

Scott, that picture of the Inuit and their freighter canoes tells a great tale of where you were. I wish I had something to add, but I have an AA Blackjack and had an AA Wigeon, and neither of those are the same as what you are looking at.
