More progress today! The harping i made fit like a dream. Fit it to the boat and gave it a quick coat of paint, hopefully next weekend it will be installed. Took the other harping out and will make that tonight. Also removed both oar locks and other wood off deck to make new ( not sure what...

Tore more into the box today. Found the harpin was cut already. Don?t know if thats the way it was originally made, or from a previous restoration. Going to replace it as it came out. Just have to figure out the best way to cut it

Yes Steve. Looks to be the harpin. Thank you! The first 3 ribs worth are rotted on both sides of my box. Was wondering if i can cut and splice or just have to replace the whole length? And also the harpin (bow block) is rotted but thats not a big deal

So i'm sitting here looking at pictures of the rot on the bow. Just wondering if I can cut out the outer section (not sure what its called where the planks screw to) and sister up a rib and epoxy the new wood to the beefed up ribs? If that makes sense.

New member here! Thanks for the add. Seems like alot of knowledge here. I was given a heinrichs jr sneak box. It?s dated 10/95 on the inside. Just wondering if there is a way to find out what number boat it is? I?ve seen people post it as I browsed the forum tonight.
