    Going for the dumbest mistake of the years award.

    I always tie the painter to the winch stand and have a rope across the rear of the rear of the boat. It hangs on the light bracket when launching. I like rope to secure things, but if I travel a distance I add a winch strap..

    Don, a guide gave a tip... #7 steel trap loads for shooting cripples, have used them and they are deadly. Lots of shot will penetrate the head, not so much the body.

    Decoy keel design

    I put a small angle bevel on the front of a couple of keels onpuddle duck so they got a little movement. Would try the same with buffies...

    Way over inflated. What load are you carrying? I use 35lbs and lower if we beach launch. I also run tubes in them.

    Tod, I'd go with new tires on new rims. Take the outboard off to save the beating on the bracket. Any thing loose take out, there are unscruplious people out there, they will rob you in the hotel lot. Lock the hitch and safety chains. Do the bearings and have a set ready to go.. I use timkin...
