    Bill, I drafted the pattern by looking at the original. The bodies are 13 1/2" long, 4" high, 8" wide. The tail is made of 1/4" hardboard. It protudes 2" from the cork. .

    Ben, I see that Eric hasn't answered so I'll butt in. Those are turning tools (gouges, skews, parting tools etc.) used with the Oliver lathe in the picture. I have heard that some mere mortals try and get by with as few as 5 or 6.........he he he he. .
