    Canvas Decoys. Scoter and Brant

So a while back my father said he was going to start a project of making some canvas Scoter decoys. I told him I would also like to make some Canvas Brant decoys and asked if he would cut out some bottom boards and backbones for me. He obliged and a few weeks ago handed me a starter kit. Here...

    SeaDuck Boat pics

Here are a few pics of my sea duck rig. It’s a Duckwater Ocean 23. Any sea worthy boat can get the job done. I chose this as it allows me to keep my decoys neat and tidy with a clear floor. I also fish off it all summer.

    Hearing protection for kids

My 13 year old daughter has tried just about every earmuff imaginable in a reasonable price range over the last two years. She has decided she likes these walker razor electronic muffs the best. She mostly keeps them “off” but does turn them on if there is some chatter in the blind or if she...

    Online Outboards?

Jeff, I have a 20 hp electric start power trim Suzuki on my big boat as a kicker. I have had it for 5 years and almost 100 trouble free hours. The things I like about it are it is fuel injected, has a backup pull start and can run/start with a dead battery.

Leak proof fuel storage in boat

I?m surprised to hear that one of those cans leaked. I have had several for years with no issues. My suggestion would be to look at fuel bladders for off road vehicles. They make some one and two gallon bladders that are durable, leak proof and take up little space.

    Towable layout bottom

Nick, I think Scott is on the right track for getting the boat to tow without modifications. If you build a bracket or a ski pylon at the rear of the boat and a short rope it naturally keeps the bow high and prevents submerging, although adding a keel will keep it tracking straight. I have also...
