    Nissan 3.5 hp has issues!

Dani, I agree with Roy, sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Had a motor that acted like that....... there was a tiny piece of plastic in the bowl that would jam up the jet. Ran fine after I got it out.

    Atlas gloves?

Ditto - 495s for me and most, if not all, my hunting companions. Still on my 1st pair that are near 20 years old. Extra liners so I always have dry gloves in the morning. One of those "best thing I ever bought" items.

When the wind is a blowing

I was stationed at NAS Whidbey Island when I first heard the saying "when the tide's out, the table's set" how appropriate.

    Whoops

It is definitely a blast sight fishing Reds. There have been quite a few days when I only cast to fish that I can see and watch them eat my fly. Haven't been into my backing yet but only because I let them tow me around, like this 28" - my personal best.

    Whoops

It's been a real learning experience. My 1st year here I only had waders and managed to get a 25". 2nd year I had a kayak and caught maybe 200 Speckled Trout but only a few Reds and those were with a spinning rod. This year I have a Solo Skiff and able to go further and stand up to see/cast...

    Whoops

Apparently "used to be a great place ". From my understanding Hurricane Harvey in August 2017 totally scoured St Charles Bay (where I'm at) and it still hasn't recovered. I've seen rafts of a thousand Redheads near the Aransas Pass Causeway but only a couple here. Oddly, seeing a lot of...

    Whoops

Nope, I see very few ducks while out fishing though I understand there are a lot more birds out around the barrier islands. Plus, it's like $315 for a NR annual license .

    Whoops

Been on the Texas gulf coast since Nov 1st. - mainly flyfishing Redfish. The past month I see Whooping Cranes most days. Thought it strange to see them grazing on the flats until I learned they love blue crabs as much as we do. https://youtu.be/Nm9fwhdJths

    Overseas Outboard Dealers

Yes, I bought a Tohatsu 6hp a year ago. Easy to order and free shipping. They regularly get new stock. If a motor you want is out of stock, register your email address and they'll send you a message when it's back in stock - that's what happened to me. Ordered my motor the same day I got...

    Overseas Outboard Dealers

Last new outboard I bought is a 6hp Tohatsu 4 stroke for my Solo Skiff. Best price was at onlineoutboards.com and they also offer free shipping. Originally it was "out of stock" but I supplied them with my email and a month later was informed "back in stock". It was delivered within 5 days.

    How to kill a skunk?

I've taken out a lot of skunks when I was trapping and learned to never, ever shoot them in the head - they always sprayed. The jab stick with syringe is supposed to work but the skunk needs to be in a trap first. The only method that ever worked was a low impact shot to the stomach with a .22...

    Skin infection and prevention help

Dani, when Otto was experiencing his skin infections I was told that Johnson Baby Shampoo has antibacterial properties. It did seem to help. Can't help with the rest of your questions.

How to get my boat on the water

I've got a Solo Skiff that weighs about 225# with a 6hp, gas and a bit off fishing gear. This system works whether I'm using a ramp or off the beach. The pvc is stuffed with 2x2s for added stiffness.

    Ever see this?

I've got a '95 115 Johnson that looked just like yours. It was backed into in my driveway. Repair shop suggested trying to beat it back into alignment - "Most likely break, but worth a shot". I used a hand mall as a buck and whacked the other side with a rubber mallet. Worked great. Still...

SUCCESS !!! need outboard repair thoughts from the brain trust.

I'm interested in what you find out is causing this. Looks like you've tried different bulbs? Have you checked the fuel pump for a pinhole in the diaphragm?

    Carbon-Core?

Interesting material. I'd call the company and ask for the contact info of a boat builder using their product. Looking at their website I don't see specific information on fasteners, adhesives, etc and only a brief mention of heat welding. What concerns me is the primary exterior material is...
