Thanks everyone. Pretty cool place down here. So different than MN. Our only requirement is that every meal except breakfast is seafood of some type. We have been down this way before and have found some nice hole in the wall seafood joints.

Thanks Eric. I've spoken with a couple others who put the same longtail on the Lund Ducker with good results. Neither ever did anything to the transom. On the ducker I bought the transom boards needed some work so I'm thinking beefing it up a little would hurt anything.

Will going full width across the top provide more strength? I am putting a 7hp long tail on it and it is probably a heavier motor than the boat was designed for. Others have done what I'm doing and I never asked if they needed up the transom before putting in a longtail.

Looking for a small trailer for my Limd Ducker. The boat is 12' long, 40"'s wide and weighs 100 lbs. been looking at 3up Jetski trailers or small boat trailers. Don't want a heavy duty trailer as my load is light and I don't want it bouncing all over the place.
