    Canoe Sponsons?

Cleaning out the barn, found a "new never used" commercial pontoon set: two white foam cylinders approx 4'long x7" or 8"dia w/aluminum poles through middle; two braces fit on the ends, going over the gunnels. My brother used to fiddle with boats, made outrigges of drainpipe, bamboo, no doubt...

    CORK CAN

Great attitude with the head...how did you get the eye to look like that? Or is it shadows in the photo?

Hey Garvey, how did Little Hank make out?

Not bagging a bird, and still enjoying the experience is sure a valuable lesson...sound of you to encourage that perspective. A fine example for the wee man... Tom

    Yukon Mike - decoy arrived

Mike, the eider arrived today. Opened it right at the Post Office to many ooo's and aaahhh's. The note, the magazines, beautiful decoy...Andrea may be convinced to manage the soccer team one more year, unless she moves to the Territory after seeing those photos. Thankyou. Tom

    Went shed hunting yesterday afternoon.

Do you ever find sheds in pairs, relatively close together? Never found them that way in Northern New England myself, though my nephew asked "why not"? Hmm, didn't have an answer. Any ideas? thanks...

    Suggestions to ship small boat

If the boat does not need crating, and they can slap a bar code sticker on the hull, many movers will include a boat with other goods. Lots of trucks moving from New England to Florida, and it's easy to add on. Not sure if that fits your area, might be worth checking out vs crating & freight?

    NDR - Line-X bed liner

Has anyone got experience using it on an aluminum boat? Sounds like it'd solve my slippery bench seat & inside hull for the dog.

    I hate when this happens....

Randy Dow, 90 years old this year, reminds me to watch out for the stuff on Great Bay the consistency of a "slurpy", a heavy slush. One might be able to get part way through it, then find the boat won't move - can't push off on anything like you might with ice. Maybe something we only have on...

    Gunning box

The last photo shows soft strap (like my leather handle) better than I explained. If gun supports are low enough, you can grip gun in place, and strap, at same time. It's handy, 'long as you keep box contents light...awkward if both box and gun are heavy.

    Gunning box

"New" member here, though I've read posts for years. My father made a similar box for me...the handle was leather belting (so not to mark gun), and gun supports were lower than photo on forum, so you could carry the box with gun in place. Can't post photos yet, but think of your gripping hand...
