    Happy Holidays!

Hey Lou! Let me know when you're around the shop and we'll stop by. Tom mentioned how he'd like to do that again and another fishing/hunting buddy wants to come along too. You and I can let them buy...Ill tell them it's the price of admission

    Happy Holidays!

Just looking in to say Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to all! Ever since I became a hermit, I keep forgetting what day it is but I see here by the notches I cut on the edge of the table that it is holiday time again. Retirement has been fun...had a great summer chasing walleye on Saginaw...

This motor does run a while even if choked. I'm interested in what you came up with for a kill switch

This corroborates the info I have found. I just found info stating that the kill switch was an option from '72 until '76 when it was permanently added to the design. Thanks for the help on this...Daves diagram gives me a head start if I get ambitious enough to add my own kill switch

His input will be missed here Jim. I enjoyed many conversations with your Dad over the years. God bless his soul.

    1971 Mercury 4hp 2 stroke Merc 40

The mystery continues...no kill switch in the tiller handle end. Tom, I figured the same thing...twist throttle to full off but that didn't do it. I have looked everywhere online for the user manual but it's 45 years old. If anyone has any ideas, it's a Mercury (model 40) (1 CYL.) Mercury...

I was trying to reach it with my tongue Dave but I pulled a back muscle. Seriously, I'm trying to look smart when I go boating. A kill switch seems fundamental but maybe not in 1971.

    Hunting Dog Bottle Openers

I have been making these for local dog lovers, beer lovers and our American Legion fundraising activities for the past 6 months or so. I even brought them to my first Outdoor Expo here in Michigan and they were pretty popular with those guys too. The images are attached to the pine back via...

    Woodworker / Cabinetmaker parts

I have recently disassembled a wall to wall, ceiling to floor desk/ shelf/ cupboard at my son's new home. I think I have 28 hydraulic, "soft close" hinges, a box full of ball bearing drawer slides and many round stainless door pulls. If you're a woodworker and have some interest, let me...

Of course, the only choice is oils. The good news is that they turn poor painters into great ones..... and they can mastered in a week - but only if you buy Keith's book. I also heard there's a special secret formula topcoat! If followed by a week under marijuana plant cultivation...

High praise indeed George. I intentionally took the "angry" look off the drake's face. They are decoys after all so I went for the "come on in, everything is safe down here" look
