    RIP George Foreman

I agree with you Eric, he was a remarkable and very unique guy. Regardless who answered your sons email, the fact is it was answered and it was clearly important to him that happen.

    Canvas slot bags for decoys

There you go Rick. I am sure those bags referred to are nice, the guy makes very nice boats and I don't see the bags being any different.

    Canvas slot bags for decoys

An auto ( or other) upholsterer could probably make them also. I have two of Diane's canvas bags that are around 20 years old and are good as new, the zippers are fine, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. They are just so well made, you can't get anything like this that is a production piece...

    Tohatsu vs Suzuki

Greg those Yammy 2 stroke were one of the best motors ever made. I'd never get rid of it either You know what else Chad? It's a pull start and never fails. I admit at 66 I wouldn't mind having an electric start, but then I would have to put a battery in my AA Blackjack and would be looking at...

    Tohatsu vs Suzuki

I'm glad you got yourself a motor, and am sure that you will be happy with it. If I ever wanted to get rid of my 25 Yamaha 2 stroke, which I just don't see but admit is possible (ughhh), I'd be looking at what you looked at.

    Tohatsu vs Suzuki

I don't think you can go wrong on either one. I had a Suzuki DF140, but that is not comparable to what you're looking at(it was a good motor). But I see many smaller Suzuki motors around these days and owners seem to like them. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that...

Bob Keeney-follow up on "Doc and the Rube"

Hi Bob-on that thread I noted a gun cleaning rod from the house I used to rent on LBI and which you identified as once belonging to Rube Corlies. I have been looking for the cleaning rod for around a month. I actually don't even have a ton of stuff in general these days and thought it would be...

    Safety on the water.

I just read this and am glad you are OK. That is a very close call, and a good story you should share far and wide. You might try a big magnet on the end of a rope for your gun.

    Whatcha Listening To?

I did a memory re-check and realized I had to have seen Joe Walsh in 1972 or 1973, and it was at the Academy of Music. In any event, here is Funk #49 from 2006:

    Old Duck Boat

on was such an even-keeled member who treated everyone with respect. He was one of the folks that set the tone for this site by the way he interacted. If cancer hadn't taken him I have no doubt he'd still be here helping anyone he could. We were lucky to have him.

    Whatcha Listening To?

I saw Joe Walsh and Barnstorm in 1975 in NYC. Rocky Mountain Way was still a big one, Funk 49-was that them? Vince will know!

    NDR - Shingles

Thankfully, no family history so the home test is an option I would do this first with your history. I(66 y/o) did it last year and because of a slight anomaly I did have to do the colonoscopy, which was also negative with no problem. I had read about the home test a few months prior to all of...
