Thanks Mike and John. I'm learning quite a bit about oil paints. The pad weights were fun too. I bought some sheet lead and stacked it for the look you see here. The hardware is silicon bronze and I aged it by applying a metal patina. I'll post pics of the finished...

I love the swans Sean. See them at Parkertown. This is my first decoy cut out on the new bandsaw. A Barnegat style blackie. I'm also re-painting (in oils) a mallard that I carved last year. And just affixed a new pad weight and antiqued the hardware.................Kevin

That's the one Dave. Me and my friend looked at it and thought that it was a great refurb. Very nicely done by a pro carpenter. He just got the other one a little cheaper and there is a bit more room. They were refurbed by the same guy.

Eddie, there is another one just like it, refurbed last year for sale in NJ. Maybe we could put it in a bottle and push it off. Dan, I live in South Jersey. About 15-20 minutes from Philly. About 35-40 minutes from Atlantic City. I hunt the Jersey shore from Barnegat to Cape May. There is plenty of hunting here in Jersey.....................Good luck, Philly is a fun city........................"Go...
