    Many years ago my father and I (I was about 10-12 at the time made one out of a hollow piece of basswood. After a year of so we started getting nesting. It was cool to watch the wood ducks off the back deck.

    Beautiful morning with a moderate amount of activity

    I back home in NW iowa this weekend. Pretty slow but still was nice, I could have stayed out all day. I hunted ona lake I trampled over and new like the back of my hand. Even spent the night after I set up decoys at midnight. Fun
