Where you located? I got a very good guy I use for used/re manufactured motors. Very fair pricing and stands behind his motors. I have bought 4 from him over the years and they all ran great. Last 2 Johnson 150's I got from him went through hell and are still running for the new owner.

I have not, but I don't think a 9.9 longtail would push that thing well at all. I'm sure you're not worried about speed and just want the ability to pass though muddy areas but that motor won't move that boat. Just my opinion.
